Apr 30, 2020 · The KM3 is an awesome tire. I love it on the truck and on a rec wheeler there isn't any better. We run the KR2 on the race car because it's the better tire for that. From the guys at BFG if you are gonna hit any wet go with the KM3. The KR2 is the best desert racer tire but they told me if there was gonna be mud or anything to run the km3.

Jul 31, 2022 · The Mud-Terrain T/A® KM3 UTV tires are not DOT approved. Some counties and states in the USA allow ATVs/UTVs to be used on public roads. As of 8/1/2018, a DOT approved tire is not currently required by the counties and states in the USA that allow the use of an ATV/UTV on public roads.

Dec 8, 2020 · The KR2 is more of a race tire and way more expensive. I would stay away from them The KM3 is around $200 a tire and a great tire. Key to the BFG in the desert is you have to run 18-20psi in the tires. Sounds like a lot of psi, but they ride great in that range. They will wear better too for street driving. I was skeptical of the hype of the BFGs.

Mar 10, 2021 · I run the BFG KM3 - 32" and I really like them. I ride everything from Sand Mt NV / NV desert / Rubicon with them and they have not disappointed. I run them on Method 401 Beadlocks. They are heavier in the sand than my paddles but if you air down they will still take me anywhere on the hill I want to go.
