    This medication can cause your body to hold on to extra body water . This can increase your risk of heart failure. Tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious signs of water retention or heart failure occur

    • Shortness of breath
    • Swelling ankles/feet
    • Unusual tiredness
    • Unusual/sudden weight gain

    A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including

    • Rash
    • Itching/swelling
    • Severe dizziness
    • Trouble breathing

    Other things to note

    • Rarely, males may have a painful or prolonged erection lasting 4 or more hours. If this occurs, stop using this drug and seek immediate medical attention, or permanent problems could occur.
    • This medication can decrease sperm production, an effect that may lower male fertility. Consult your doctor for more details.
