Is the WiFi antenna also used as a Bluetooth antenna? : r/ASUS
Aug 28, 2018 · And now finally the lightbulb in my head turned on. I typed "motherboard antenna bluetooth" into Google, found this thread (I don't even have ASUS mb) and facepalmed. Connected the antenna (PC was connected via ethernet cable of course, so I thought I didn't need it) and voilà, bluetooth can now reach even into the bathroom, lol.
How do you set up the WiFi antenna for the Asus B550-F?
Dec 27, 2020 · From the gallery of photos on the ASUS site, it looks like short fin is the base and skinny tall one is the antenna. They are supposed to connect, but may have some sticky pads blocking the latches. Reply reply

yea, because you're so close to your device typically with bluetooth I guess I could see it still functioning. but youd most definitely have better range and functionality with the antenna(s) attached. kinda like back in the 90s when someones car antenna broke off, you could still get close radio stations but the ones based farther away weren't ...
