12.5” AR-10 .308 SBR Thoughts? | Sniper's Hide Forum
Jun 13, 2019 · No way I'd SBR a large frame AR only to find out that it sucks. You've then wasted $200, the time involved in waiting for approval, and engraving. Build it up as a pistol and try it out first. If you like it, then SBR to your heart's content if you want so you can run a correct stock.
Is it worth it to make an SBR? : r/NFA - Reddit
Ignoring that SBR law, if you're otherwise responsible in life, is just a bit more spicy version of ignoring 922r. I don't know what the process would look like if you got stopped for speeding or a DUI suspicion and the cop asks you if you have any guns in the car.. and you have an AR somewhere that's visible (visible without consenting to ...

I have an existing lower registered as an SBR - I originally built a 7.62x39 SBR on it. I was thinking of building a second upper of different caliber for use on this lower, since it's already registered. I already have AR-15 SBR platforms in 9mm, 300BLK and the aforementioned 7.62x39. This new build will be shot both suppressed and unsuppressed.
AR-10 for an SBR? : r/AR10 - Reddit
May 17, 2017 · Armalite sells a 13.5 inch sbr'd ar-10. Noveske has their leonidas which is a 12.5. If you ever want to suppress it I think most suppressors that are rated for below a 16 inch barrel in 308 call for a 12 to 13 inch barrel. I saw go nuts. If you search for the leonidas I'm sure you will find some videos of it.

Jun 1, 2017 · Normal SBR setup wears a Primary Arms 1-6x ACSS 300BO reticle in an ADM recon mount on the Seekins 10.5" 300BO upper When I swap I swap over to the 10.5" 5.56mm upper, I move over either the above PA or a Bushnell Elite 1-6x (normally on the SP3G) depending on what gun isn't going to be shot.

Sling for SBR? | Sniper's Hide Forum
Dec 25, 2006 · With an SBR the barrel can easily muzzle your knees with a one point and it induces a lot of movement in the weapon. I've seen a few instances of hanging SBR's dropping the safety and putting a round through the owners legs and lets just say, most ended in amputations. In action I prefer the simplicity of a single point. Go Magpul MS3.
10.5" SBR - Buffer and Buffer Spring Options - Sniper's Hide
Jan 7, 2014 · My SBR is a Seekins 10.5". It will cycle 62 GR M855 very well. It will cycle anything with a suppressor. I had an issue when it came to some old .223 I found. FTF every shot. I know that it is a lighter charge but I would like my SBR to cycle anything. I have a crappy spring and buffer at present.
SBR Ar10? : r/AR10 - Reddit
For some insane reason, I, like OP, also want to build a large frame SBR and have been vacillating between 8.6blk and .308 in an AR-10 size or possibly 6 arc in an AR-15. I already have a 16” .308 and would just be looking for something that packed more punch and was also more maneuverable. I already have 9mm, 300blk, and 5.56 SBRs.
