Jul 21, 2016 · APCBC is the best, it combines the bonuses of both, then APC, because in this game sloped armor is a pain to get through, every bit helps. On a more personal note, you should get the comet asap, its a fantastic tank with apds which makes ammo racks look like fireworks boxes of fun lol. Great tank, and it teaches you the ways of the sabot!

Nov 12, 2021 · I beleive thats why APCBC is claimed to be a jack of all trades: it retains decent overall pen, CBC means better pen against angled armour as well as improved ballistics and the mass of the solid AP shell means that it can still create a fair amount of spalling damage upon penetration IMO, APCBC really is a great all-round shell.

Jan 9, 2025 · Im just curious, haven’t read up much about sabot and its uses historically. My Challenger and my Comets Sabot at 5.3 deals very little spalling compared to APCBC. I’d argue that Sabot feels almost useless unless you wanna snipe the enemy tanks gunner. But even then the same could be achieved with the Mk.8 APCBC rounds
