Would it have 6x AIM-9P-4 or only 4x AIM-9P-4 + 2x AIM-9P because with first variant it could be potentially better than F-104S.ASA. It is true, AIM-9P-4 are still worse than AIM-9L but having 6 all aspect missiles could make it better plane as AIM-9P-4 are still solid missiles.

J35XS only have AIM-9P’s (RB24J), 12 Flares/Chaffs, 20min of fuel and only 120 bullets in your gun at 11.0 (in Air RB). You face AIM-7F’s, R-73 with IRCCM (Su-39 11.7) with a Jet Fighter that only have 12 Flares. Gaijin pls fix it.

The difference in missile icons on some aircraft is completely unnecessary, such as Magic 1 and AIM-9P on A-5C, Magic 1 with yellow icon has better maneuverability, but the AIM-9P with red icon has a longer range, so the Magic 1 is not absolutely “better” than the AIM-9P.

Feb 13, 2025 · F-14 IRIAF could carry all aspect. There is the Fatter variant of AIM-9P and there were some successful tests to certify R-73 on it. It can use it , they don’t because the missile is in high demand with the Russian planes they got. It shouldn’t even have R-27R, not carry 27ER. But it can go with a 6xFakour /AIm-54 set up as well.
