Sep 6, 2023 · 6mm ARC is a different rifle/carbine from an engineering perspective because of the much lower bore volume and higher case capacity. This has serious considerations for your gas port location and diameter, chamber and port pressure windows for ammunition, and the action spring weight.

Dec 23, 2023 · Would 6arc work in AK? Technically yes, realistically no. 7.62x39 has a bolt face depth of .125" and Grendel/ARC use .136".... So if you were able to get a 6arc barrel and change the boltface them yes. You can use a standard AK bolt, you just need the barrel to be reamed slightly deeper same as you would with a 'Type I' bolt.
