Jun 24, 2020 · New Jeep owner here, I just bought a 2018 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 3.6 l, I was told by salesman with the towing package it can pull 6,200 lbs. I am having a hard time finding this online, all my searches say towing capacity is 3,500 lbs. I found searches that say 6,200 lbs when properly equipped. Can't find what properly equipped means.

Jun 18, 2018 · Looking to buy a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4. Found one locally with everything I want including color, sunroof etc. The only thing it does NOT have is a towing package. I was told this by the dealer. I'm having a difficult time finding exactly what that means... a towing package.

I have a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit with the 5.7L Engine with tow package. I plan on towing a 2019 Ketstone Hideout 178LHS travel trailer. Loaded max weight will be 4500 Lbs or less.

Aug 25, 2019 · UHaul’s online reservation system does not recognize that a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L V8 engine exists. It only shows 3.6L options, which will under-size your setup limit. I had to select the Grand Cherokee SRT to get them to acknowledge the V8. They want to know what car you will be loading on the trailer to guess weight and dimensions.

May 26, 2013 · The 2011, 2012, & 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee models all have a standard fan (350 Watt), standard radiator, and standard alternator (180 amp) I have not tested the 2014, but do believe the Pentastar V6 engine has sufficient torque and horsepower with proper cooling, to tow at least 5000 lbs. due to the fact that mine would tow 4000 lbs. up slope ...

Feb 28, 2020 · I just purchased a 2020 Trailhawk with the 5.7L option. The manual states that unless it has the HD cooling option the towing is limited to #5000. I have looked at my door sticker and haven't been able to see anything related to towing capacity. The window sticker doesn't list out a HD cooling option either.
