If it was mine I would use the 3.08 Dana 70 from a 3/4 or 1 ton Dodge Cummins diesel truck from 89 to 93, they are the highest ratio, strongest rear end you will find. It is rare to find big, strong, and high ratio in a truck rear end, and these are the only show in town for this package. They also have really big good brakes.
