I live in Taiwan and use Binance. Have had a good experience with them, except for outages during big moves in the market. I can understand why this happens though. It is a LOT of traffic. Americans using Binance generally need to use Binance US, which sucks for them. Overall Good experience personally. No tricks, no problems.

Basically, Binance isn't fully operational because of some regulatory stuff, and even Binance.US isn't available in every state. I was in one of those unlucky states (greetings, Texas) and found out I still had some money in my old Binance account that I wanted to get out. I ended up using a VPN to access my account, and it worked for me.

At the start binance inform me that i need to have exactly the same name on my binance account and revolut bank account, the problem is binance have my name on Greek alphabet and revolut with latin alphabet, non of both allows me to change the name,example Binance showing name is Ιωαννης Revolut showing name is Ioannis

Binance has an article explaining what the lightning network is, but no word about implementing it. It may not be to Binance advantage to implement it though. I personally want to use lightning network to transfer all my BTC trading to cold storage. But with the lightning network, there would be fewer incentives to keep BTC on Binance.

Mar 26, 2021 · I like binance the most because there is more choices of coins and as I only dca and hodl I use flexible and fixed terms. But I see a lot of people hating on binance throught reddit. Mostly because of the withdraw fees (27$ if I recall), which i don’t consider a definitive no go.

Binance makes so much money that they probably have a level of security that touches the sky. And as long as I keep my 2FA and don't fall into phishing traps, I will be fine. The only potential issue I see is, a normal Bank is more regulated and I have the guarantee that a certain amount of my money will be recovered even if the Bank disappears.
