Dec 12, 2007 · The Type-J is the second to last car on the YR4 touring platform, then Yokomo moved to the MR4 platform, with which Hara won the 2001 worlds with. The YR4 platform had its roots all the way to the YZ-10, and in the fast-moving environment of late 90's early 00's DTM, the limit was reached relatively soon.

Mar 3, 2009 · I haven't posted here in a loooong time, but here's m most recent Yokomo YR-4 build. - Tekin 410K esc & chrome receiver, Yokomo Twin Cam motor and Panasonic P-170 cells. I have a few things to button up and add an ABC Hobby stealth antenna once it arrives. I have a new Protoform Saturn SC2 body that I may use for display.

Apr 25, 2012 · Mine is YR4 M2 type J PRO so the chassis, front bulkhead and front diff are different but I can live with it. Should I still buy newer touring car to compete in local tracks? I've been looking for a few days already and ended up buying another discontinued car …

Aug 20, 2008 · Last part of my trilogy Yokomo YR with the review of the Yokomo YR4 M2 type J PRO, the ultimate YR4 sedan produced by Yokomo at the end of 90 years. I don't remember how was all the story, but this car really provoked a lot of "headache" for anybody, even for some Yokomo's sponsor drivers.

Introduced by Team Yokomo circa 1998, the 4WD YR4 M2 Type-J Touring Car, was the last in the M2 series, with a double 4 cell slot chassis, able to accept either stick (shot-gun) or saddle pack batteries and rear positioned top deck shock absorber.
