Bowen is a nice spot for a couple of days. the main part of town is a bit ordinary but there are several beaches. My favourites are Rose Bay and Horseshoe Bay and between these is a walking track which goes up past Mother Beddows Rock from which there are great views.

Nov 21, 2023 · How come I am unable to find any information on the internet on how to get to Stone Island from Bowen? Does this trip not exist anymore? Otherwise, do you have any recommendation? There should be some water taxi that brings you there for a few hours.
