North Leitrim’s Sarah Brady (9th) and Aisling Cullen (12th) rounded out the Connacht team with Ella McDaid pipping Carrick’s debutant Kirsty McHenry for the sixth medal on the team in a sprint finish, finishing 21st and 22nd, with Lara Mulvaney Kelly 29th.

He is already planning for next years’ event which will take in Athlone on Tuesday December 29th 2020. There were a number of new initiatives this year which proved to be very successful.

Sarah Brady (North Leitrim A.C.) and Peter Meegan (Dunleer A.C) were the final individual winners’ in the U17 age category with great numbers in the juvenile races. The relay winners were: Dundalk St Gerard’s U12 girls, Midleton AC U12 boys, Ratoath AC U14 girls and United Striders AC U14 boys.

Nov 7, 2019 · North Leitrim AC's Sarah Brady was the county's only medalist at the Connacht Even Ages Cross-country Championships in Calry last Sunday with five other athletes qualifying for the National Championships.

The North West indoor Games which were started by Bernie O’ Callaghan just four years ago, continue to go from strength to strength with the entry list for this year increased from 425 in 2017 to 735. The entries came from 76 clubs in 29 different counties and there was even an entry from Stockport Athletic Club in England.
