Holme is a village in the Holme Valley civil parish of Kirklees in West Yorkshire, England. The village straddles the A6024 road between Holmbridge and Lane village, 2.5 miles (4 km) south-west of Holmfirth.

Holme church has a long association with North Muskham where a prebend of Southwell collegiate church was established in the early years of the twelfth century when the Archbishop of York gifted land to the college of canons.

The village church, St. David's, dates back to the 12th century and is a beautiful example of Norman architecture. The village also has a number of traditional stone cottages and farmhouses, which add to the charm and character of the village.

The west end of the nave has been screened off full height and sub-divided to create ground floor facilities and an upper room; never easy to do well, but here at least it is discrete and works to yield practical benefits.
