Fred Brown (born August 7, 1948), nicknamed "Downtown Freddie Brown", is an American former professional basketball player who was a guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes, before playing 13 seasons (1971–1984) in the NBA, all with the Seattle SuperSonics.
