Jan 7, 2016 · While it's not a good idea to write a game/software that relies on an uncommon controller like this one, it could still be added as a switchable option instead of the standard 2600 keypads, maybe with an autodetection routine.

Jul 12, 2024 · If Atari released a new 2600+ Keyboard Controller Pack like it did for the paddles, they could fit all their original keypad games onto one cart, including Star Raiders, and hopefully include all the manuals.

Mar 18, 2003 · Most of the above "games" require an overlay that fits one of the three controllers (Keyboard, Keypad, Kid's Controller) so that you can know what the button means. Q: The Star Raider overlay indicates that only five of the twelve buttons are used for this game.

Sep 27, 2003 · I just got my first pair of keyboard controllers (I'm surprised it took me this long), and I noticed the connectors are not the standard Atari shape, and have an AMP logo on them. Also, there is a stamp underneath that says "Assembled in Mexico" (thought they were made in Taiwan?). Is this normal?
