Jan 27, 2013 · You can ship a gun to a resident of NY state (for a few more weeks) without going through a FFL. Long guns can be shipped by USPS and common carrier (FedEx, UPS, etc), but you can not ship a handgun via USPS unless you are a FFL. The restriction on shipping handguns via USPS applies to all shipping, both in and out of state.

Beat the crap out of my truck up there for a week with the potholes in the roads. I miss the guns laws in NY like having the shits and getting rid of them.
