Jan 10, 2025 · Phoenix was the last true Ring of Fire company in operation and the only corporate tie to George Jennings, the guy who started it all. They'll be missed if only among SNS fanatics. Boy do I ever wish HiPoint would take up the mantle and make a .25, but that caliber is only kept alive by 100+ years of pocket pistols and my Raven obsession.
The Raven: The "Ring of Fire" Pistol That Started It All
Apr 16, 2018 · Phoenix Arms (named for the mythological bird that rises from the ashes) was owned in equal shares by George Jennings' ex-wife, his children, and by the former GM of Raven Arms. Although the Phoenix Arms 'Model Raven' was manufactured by a different legal entity at a different location, it is for all intents the "fifth generation" Raven.
Anyone carry a Phoenix Hp22a? - Hi-Point Firearms Forums
May 13, 2015 · I have the HP25A. Pocket carry in a Blackhawk size 4, or belt carry in the Phoenix Arms nylon holster. Usually carry C2, that's how I was trained to carry the 1911 over 30 years ago. Trying some C1. The Phoenix has a stiff safety, I trust it not to disengage. Hard to break old habits though! I don't like rimfires without last round hold open.

Oct 2, 2012 · Phoenix Arms suggests ammo rated at 1050-1150 fps (subsonic). I've only put about 100 rounds through one of mine so far and the only malfunction has been one FTE, I've been using Federal bulk pack 1260 fps in it. Phoenix HP22A review - Hi-Point Firearms Forums
Mar 17, 2012 · Due to limited funds, I settled for a Phoenix HP22A for now, though some day I plan on a Ruger SR9C. My Phoenix shoots well, though, and I'm happy with it. The California market was not kind to this poor thing, and it had some …

Concealed Carry a HP 22 | Hi-Point Firearms Forums
Feb 16, 2021 · First, I have a soft spot for the Phoenix Arms .22 and .25 pistols. My preference is the .25. For reliability reasons, but honestly, stay away from the bulk stuff, use premium fodder, and mishaps become rare. That said, I would not recommend the HP 22 or 25 for social work. It is hampered by too many safeties.
Phoenix HP22 or Taurus PT22? - Hi-Point Firearms Forums
Dec 26, 2012 · I have two Phoenix HP22's and love them. However, on the 2nd outing, my son was firing one of them and noticed a pin sticking up on top. The retaining pin for the extractor had slid up and the extractor and spring had popped out. Found the extractor, lost the spring. I've ordered some parts from Phoenix. They're nice little guns and pretty ...
