Denji freely gave aid to Pochita, who freely gave Denji companionship and eventually his devil body and powers. I think that Denji is still human mentally and spiritually, but on the physical level he has a devil's heart keeping his everything together.

Nov 6, 2020 · Denji and Power are very emotionally immature. Very selfish and childish and inexperienced when it comes to emotions and relationships. In Denji's case, this is why Makima and Reze were able to manipulate him so easily. I don't think the story will cover this, but once he and Power mature I think they might discover that they're in love with each other.
