Feb 16, 2012 · Federal at Walmart is cheap and shoots well in an XD-9. WWB is okay, I've shot Winchester 9mm NATO, Fiocchi, Sellier & Bellot, Blazer, never a problem with anything I've shot. You really can't go wrong shooting cheap stuff, some brands just are a little dirtier but like others have said, it's pretty easy to clean an XD.

Winchester, Remington, Speer, Federal, Black Hills, Hornady will be some of the biggest manufacturers available but there are many good companies making 9mm.

Apr 13, 2015 · The 9mm XD can handle +p all day. However, Cuda66 convinced me to switch my carry ammo from 124 gr. +p to 147 gr. standard pressure. The ballistics are just as good or better and there's a lot less kick for faster, more accurate follow-ups.

Mar 27, 2010 · XD 9mm, 357Sig and 40SW grip magwell and mags are the same external dimensions except for bullet alignment dimple depth of mag. XDm 9mm, 40SW and 357Sig (conversion barrel) are also the same externally. XDm vs XD magwell and mags however are not the same width dimensions. Not interchangeable between series.

Feb 16, 2006 · Since the XD-45ACP was released, I am having trouble making a decision between that and an XD-9 Service model. I always envisioned myself owning the XD-9 Subcompact so I am buying that first as it is easier to justify. I already own a full size 45 ACP and 9mm (1911 and a 92FS). I don't "need" an XD-9 or XD-45 Service model.

Mar 12, 2019 · 2. Put in a threaded barrel with a compensator/muzzle brake. Original XD barrels will NOT work properly in a Mod.2. You can, however, use an XDM 3.8 Threaded barrel (overall actual length is 4.5") because the XDM and XD Mod.2 firearms share the exact same barrel shank dimensions.
