5090 is a paper launch, it you want an "actual" GPU, recommend you get an AMD 9070XT March 20th. AMD have promised sufficient supply to meet demand. If you still want nVidia, then it does look like it will be August/Sept 2025 before sufficient "in stock" for most retailers.

They're out of stock at the Microcenter store near me and I was curious how long it takes Microcenter to restock GPUs such as the one I'm looking to buy. Does the restock take a while? If so, should I turn to Amazon or another online retailer to buy a card?

They have been known to restock on Fridays and Mondays as well around the same time. They have dropped as late as 4:00PM on these days as well.
