Jun 11, 2023 · Update: In my AU, Gordon is LNER/GNR A1 class #1470 “Great Northern”. He was loaned by the NWR in mid-1922, and purchased in early 1923. He only received slight modifications throughout his life, and was shortly retired from express services in 2011, but later returned to pulling one of 8 express trains in 2014.
