May 14, 2021 · i can see and understand the thought and value in creating a tool like this but man trying to teach the EPR writing process to a kid right outta ALS, id cry if i had to again. i actually tossed a bunch of old af EPRs out like 2-3 months and ive been out 10 years.

Feb 18, 2015 · Writing a 3 is pretty easy. You just make the bullets as bland as possible. Any derogatory information will make the EPR a referral, so you can't say something like "Doesn't show up to work on time" unless you want it to be a referral. A 2 or a 1 makes it a referral as well. However, a non-referral 3 is probably the easiest EPR you can write.

Oct 5, 2022 · Collect every bullet, awards package, EPR, etc that you come across in your career (sanitize any PII), mind you, when dealing with awards, try to get winning packages. Use approved abbreviations, don’t waste space on long words. Also, don’t use long words to “make it fit”, it’s just lazy. Start from the back and work your way forward.

Jun 11, 2023 · It's not perfect but just like helping someone else improve/fix their bullets or narrative it's MUCH easier to edit something that's already built or 75% there right? That's how I've been treating this. The new OPB worksheet for MSgt/etc says 2-3 statements per but it barely fits two from what I've been using but YMMV per usual.

Nov 29, 2016 · Literally, the bullets will transfer (with minor tweaking) to your resume. Also, the result part of the bullet is very important; employers love employees who save money and increase efficiency. I've seen a lot of bullets that were great right up until the results, and I think the impact-result confusion is part of the problem.
