I've been trying to think of a way to build around Bident of Thassa, Coastal Piracy, Reconnaissance Mission, etc. effects, but I really DON'T want to play the Edric, Spymaster of Trest "flying men" deck where you just play a bunch of cheap evasive creatures and extra turn spells and spend ten minutes playing solitaire until the game ends.

Feb 27, 2018 · Bident is also pretty good in EDH. I think people are just upset that a low value card is being printed in a masters set. Which has happened every time consistently btw. If the EV is too low just don't buy the packs and buy the singles you want. Even with a high EV that's the better deal everyone just gets tricked into gambling instead.
