The new 34980A Data Acquisition/Switch System is a compact, economical one-box solution for medium to high-density switch/measure applications in design verification, automated test and data acquisition.

The 34980A allows you to combine a DMM (either internal or external) with multiplexer channels to create a scan. During a scan, the instrument connects the internal DMM to the configured multiplexer channels one at a time and makes a measurement on each channel.

This kit includes rack mount brackets and associated hardware required to forward or reverse mount the instrument in the rack cabinet. For forward rack mounting (34980A front panel facing the front of the cabinet), use the Keysight standard rack mount kit (part number 5063-9214).
