The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-blade, twin-engine, medium-lift military utility helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft. Sikorsky submitted a design for the United States Army 's Utility Tactical Transport Aircraft System (UTTAS) competition in 1972.

The UH-60P is the Republic of Korea’s own version of the world’s most proven and reliable military utility helicopter. The UH-60P is among more than 570 Hawks of all types in the Asia region and 4,000 Hawk aircraft of all variants across more than 30 countries.
