May 8, 2020 · I have both a Scorpion and a Stribog (along with a MP5 clone and APC 9 Pro). IMHO the Stribog is better out of the box. Scorpion has a horrible trigger and pistol grip. There's a reason why there are so many upgrades for the Scorpion. The only upgrade I've installed on the Stribog is the HB Industries non-reciprocating charging hand mod.

Aug 10, 2024 · I had the opportunity to shoot a Stribog SP9A1 pistol with brace and a PSA AR-9 10"-barrel pistol with brace this weekend. The trigger on the Stribog was ok but the trigger on the PSA AR9 (it had been replaced with another PSA trigger) was really nice. I had a difficult time doing multi-shot engagements and transitions on smaller plates.

Aug 20, 2020 · I thought about one of the 8" MPX pistols, but as they were unobtanium at a sensible price I ended up getting both a Stribog A3 and a used, modded Scorpion for a bit less. There seem to be quite a few HBI modded Scorpions& Micros in the $900 -$1100 range Both are accurate and reliable enough, plus a ton of fun.
