Nov 26, 2023 · Thanks Marguerite! Is there a specific technique or pick thickness for tremolo of rapid sequences - say 1/16th notes? I use a blue chip and a variety of Dunlops. The quill pick is standard for the liuqin and a similar risha for the oud (both members of the lute family). I find these longer quill styles easier than a triangular finer pick.
