Jul 11, 2020 · So the answer is kinda. There are 2 versions of German rifles colloquially known as the "Kar 98", the WW1-era Karabiner 98a or Kar98a and the WW2 Karabiner 98k or K98k. When it comes to the WW1 Kar98a, the Gew 98 is kinda a predecessor. Technically speaking the Kar98a receiver more resembles the previous Mauser Model 93.

Jan 11, 2021 · long range like to use mono, 27.6, tac laser, sniper scope or variable zoom scope, and the last attachment is yours to choose i like the aim down sight stock bc it has the second best ads speed for the kar 98 for the quick scope loadout i use mono, tac laser, variable zoom scope bc u can go from 3x to 12x, stippled grip tape, focus for flinch resistance. hope this helps!

Kar98k = Karabiner 98 kurz Karabiner = Carbine (duh) 98 = Model of 1898 kurz = short So all in all, Kar98k = short carbine, model of 1898. So it makes sense for the Kar98k to have a lot shorter Barrel than the M24, and I like that the devs paid attention (or got it right by chance, lol).

Oct 12, 2020 · The Norma do slightly more damage than the KAR until 41.4m, then it drops off to the same profile as the KAR until 73.1M whereas the Kar keeps its 152 chest shot (2 shot) profile until 90m. To me this is where the Norma fails to compete and we should only be considering the Lapua as a 17m difference in 2-shot ability is a dealbreaker.

Apr 23, 2019 · For the KAR 98K I would definitely focus on the long range tree (right-hand side), which will maximize your long range performance, while minimizing wastage on your already extremely poor CQB performance that at best can be improved to just under mediocre.
