Jan 29, 2025 · Elwing the White was the third child and only daughter of Dior Eluchíl and Nimloth of Doriath, and later on the wife of the well-known Eärendil the Mariner. Elwing had twin brothers who were elder to her and they were Eluréd and Elurín.

Elwing also known as Elwing the White, was the Half-elven daughter of Dior the Fair and his wife Nimloth. She was the younger sister of the twin brothers Eluréd and Elurín. She became the wife of another Half-elf, Eärendil the Mariner, and was the mother of Elrond and Elros.

Eärendil became the leader of the people who lived there, and married Elwing, the half-elven daughter of Dior and the Sindar elf-maid Nimloth.
