C6 ZR1. The C6 ZR1 hit the streets with the 2009 model year with the 6.2L supercharged LS9, making 638 horsepower. Like the Z06 there were a couple of special editions such as the Centennial Edition and 60th Anniversary Edition. As you would expect the ZR1 models sit at the top of the hill when it comes to values. And it is really not even close.

Apr 13, 2020 · That said, I think the C6 ZR1 is a beautiful car and would certainly be a joy to own if you could find a perfect one in a really special color. Overall, I would prefer the C7 though for it's upgrades and improvements to the interior amenities and tech. Plus the sound on the C7 Z06 is pretty intoxicating, even in stock form!

Mar 25, 2010 · The last couple of years of the ZR1 it ZR1 had the same 5th & 6th gear ratio's as the Z06(unless you had the PDE option). I wish my Z06 had the .81 5th and .67 6th gear, but my highway mileage would suffer in 6th gear, but I would have much better acceleration in 5th gear(160+ MPH) and still be able to hit 200 MPH at 7,000 RPM in 5th gear.
