Feb 18, 2015 · The fact that half of the (4+4)-pin ATX12V/EPS12V hardwired CPU power cable's connector pins don't exactly match the motherboard's 8-pin CPU power socket doesn't matter since it has been designed to work this way. It is keyed such that it will only fit in one way.

Apr 15, 2017 · My issue is that I have a Corsair TX650 and it says that it is ATX12v compatible but the CPU labeled connector is 8 pins and fit in the EATX 12v slot on my last motherboard. My new motherboard is an ASUS H110M-E/M.2 LGA 1151 and it only has a 4 pin ATX 12v slot.
