Mar 26, 2019 · The 6mm GT (Gnats Testicles) is the next up and coming greatest cartridge development since the 6.5 Lapua Magnum (That Lapua should not have cancelled BTW). The GT is reported to make barricade shooting just as easy as the "square" range shooting all these haters stick with.

Mar 29, 2020 · When I got my 6 GT, I pretty much threw 40 grains StaBALL 6.5 into the cases (thrown with the Hornady powder measure that came with my first press, not using my AutoTrickler) and seated Berger 105 Hybrids at a depth I got from a Facebook group. I didn't optimize jack shit. That gave me groups around 0.6 MOA and an SD across twenty rounds of ~14.

Aug 18, 2023 · The GT is just as easy to tune (or not tune as we do). I threw together a random load to finish out this season. Picked a powder charge to get me where I want velocity wise, Jumped it .030-.050 and sub 4 SD and sub 15 ES. Can't really ask for more than that. I like the GT, have about 700 pieces of alpha brass left.

Dec 1, 2022 · The 6mm GT seems to offer similar ballistic performance to the 6.5 x 47, offers less recoil, and with the small case capacity and smaller bullets, reduced costs to shoot, while still hopefully providing decent barrel life and reliable mag feeding.

Feb 16, 2020 · It uses 20%-25% less powder than 6mm Creedmoor/243 Win. The more efficient case design of the 6GT allows it to achieve same velocity of 6mm Creedmoor/243 Win while using the same bullets. It will also feed properly out of a standard AI magazine.
