Teenage Tottenham winger Wilson Odobert faces an extended spell on the sidelines after undergoing hamstring surgery. The 19-year-old has made six appearances for Tottenham since joining from Burnley in the summer for a reported fee of £25milion.

The 19-year-old joined Spurs from Burnley in August and made five appearances in all competitions for the north London side

Wilson Odobert of Tottenham has undergone surgery for a hamstring injury. The 19-year-old will be monitored closely during recovery.

A Spurs statement said Odobert "will continue to be closely monitored by our medical team to determine when he can return to training". He has made six appearance for Tottenham so far this season.
