BCCI reveals a 15-member squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh. Mayank Yadav earns his first call-up, led by Suryakumar Yadav.

The BCCI announced India's highly-anticipated squad for the T20I series against Bangladesh on Sunday with Varun Chakravarthy returning to international cricket after a long period of time.

Shubman Gill led India in the Zimbabwe tour and was vice-captain of the Sri Lankan white-ball tour. But, since he is an important member of India’s test setup, he has been rested for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh.

Following the Test series, India and Bangladesh will lock horns with each other in the three-match T20I series. The first-match of the series will be played at Gwalior on October 6 followed by the second and the third matches to be played on October 9 (Delhi) and October 12 (Hyderabad), respectively.

The second IND vs BAN test match is underway, and the Ajit Agarkar-led selection committee has announced India’s 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in October. Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the side with some new faces like Mayank Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy getting maiden calls.

Mayank Yadav has earned his maiden T20I call-up and named in the squad for the three-match series against Bangladesh. Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant are among the players who have been rested for the series as they are part of the Test squad.
