Mayor: Service restored to 99% of Edison homes and businesses after water main break
Edison Mayor Sam Joshi told News 12 that out of the 20,000 households and businesses impacted, 99% have had their water restored. The water main was expected to be repaired by Thursday morning. The mayor said the delay was caused by a number of issues, including 80-year-old pipes and valves.
Sam Joshi, the first Indian American mayor of Edison, New Jersey, is running again, with his current term ending in Decembe.
