Challenger Nick Begich III has built a lead in the race for Alaska’s U.S. House seat, according to early results on election night.

Alaska’s U.S. House election remained too close to call in preliminary results released Tuesday evening by the Alaska Division of Elections. With 109 of 403 precincts reporting results at 8:44 p.m., Republican candidate Nick Begich led Democratic incumbent Rep.
