But this game will also be a little extra special for sixth-year linebacker Jack Kiser. Kiser will be playing in his 63rd game in a Notre Dame uniform, which is a new record for the program. It breaks the previous mark of 62 set by Houston Griffith.

Malachi Fields was credited with a 38-yard reception on a toss from Tony Muskett late in the second half inside Notre Dame Stadium. Notre Dame defender Christian Gray was in solid position and clearly stripped loose the ball well before Fields tumbled to the turf.
