Haptic Touch was also slower than 3D Touch – the first level of feedback ... but the catch is you will need the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 updates, respectively. That's not really a worry ...

This feature has so far only been available for 3D Touch devices (i.e. newer iPhones) and on iPads (but with a different, clumsier implementation), but iOS 12 changed all that. Read on.
