Florida State football benched DJ Uiagalelei in the fourth quarter at SMU, replacing him with Brock Glenn. Uiagalelei went 12-of-30, throwing for 222 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions, including one pick-six. He was benched with FSU trailing 42-16.

Florida State‘s offensive troubles persisted in its 42-16 loss to SMU on Saturday. In the loss, FSU quarterback DJ Uiagalelei completed five of his first six passes to lead the Seminoles to a touchdown on their opening drive.
