ANN ARBOR, MI – Two candidates are vying for a judge’s seat in 15th District Court after a judge announced his retirement earlier this year. Tamara Garwood, a current magistrate in the court, will be going up against S. Kerene Moore, who now serves as director of Conviction Integrity and Expungement at the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office.

In-person early voting runs for a little over two weeks, beginning on Oct. 17, and ends at 3 p.m. on Nov. 2. Absentee ballots must be requested by 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 and returned to the local board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 5.
