Tech giant Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has called the Department of Justice's plan to force it to sell its Chrome web browser “extreme,” and the company came up with its own remedy proposal in order to maintain healthy competition in the internet search market,

Google LLC has proposed putting limits on its search partnerships in order to resolve antitrust violations in its search business, as an alternative to the U.S. Department of Justice’s suggestion that it sell its Chrome browser.
