Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes scored a last-gasp winner to secure a 2-1 victory over Rangers in the Europa League group stage at Old Trafford on Thursday. The win lifted United to fourth in the standings on 15 points going into the last round of matches and in a strong position to reach the knockout phase.

Instead, after conceding a disastrous late equaliser, Amorim once again needed his countryman Bruno Fernandes to come to his rescue as he scored a sensational 92nd minute winner.
