A New Jersey lottery player won a $253,386 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Friday. The New Jersey Lottery announced Monday that a ticket sold in Union County matched the five numbers to win the jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at ShopRite on West Edgar Road in Linden.

The Powerball jackpot rose to $335 million for Monday’s drawing after no one won the top prize on Saturday. If someone matches all six numbers, they can choose a one-time cash payment of $157.3 million. A winner in Texas took home $1 million dollars on Saturday, according to the lottery.

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $279 million with a cash option of $131.5 million. The winning numbers were: 18, 20, 50, 52 and 56. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 2X.
