The state legislator banned Rep. Laurel Libby, a Republican, from voting on bills or speaking on the floor of the state House in February.

I am so proud that Janet Mills is my, and Maine’s, governor. Her courage sets the standard for a public servant whom I can admire. There are not many politicians these days who come up to Mills’ mark.

The survey, called The Pine Tree State Poll, was released Thursday by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center.
