That's the main message the City of Lodi and its Access Center want the community to know when it comes to one of the area's most vulnerable populations.

The mayor says writing on the signs would discourage people from feeding the homeless and instead, direct them to the city's Access Center. They would be affixed to city property, like traffic lights, and possibly include QR codes. He says he first got the idea years ago, observing similar signs in Arizona .
