5月8日晚間i-dle釋出回歸先行曲〈Girlfriend〉，MV選在法國巴黎拍攝，歌詞延續團體一貫支持女性的風格，副歌歌詞「Your girlfriend is better than a boyfriend」（我的女朋友比男朋友更棒）貫穿主題。
