The 45-ton, 61-foot-long tilt section of track is the ride’s signature terrifying element. It teeters the coaster’s train into a 90-degree vertical position before locking into place and releasing riders onto the 2,966 feet of twisting track below.

After months of preparing the foundations and supports for its newest roller coaster, Cedar Point announced that the first track piece is in place for its Siren's Curse thrill ride. Reaching a height of 160 feet, the coaster – set to be ready for the 2025 season – will whisk riders on a 2-minute ride at a top speed of 58 miles per hour.
