In the early hours of the morning, five armed men dressed as police officers burst into Hôtel de Pourtalès reception. They threaten and handcuff the Algerian concierge-security guard on duty, Abdulrahman Ouatiki, demanding he take them to Kim’s suite.

Ten suspects will stand trial for the heist beginning April 28, 2025, in the Paris Court of Appeal. Selection for the six jurors began on the first day of proceedings, NBC News reported. The trial is expected to end with a verdict on May 23.
