PARIS (AP) — Cameroon-born designer Imane Ayissi fused sumptuous satin and taffeta with ancestral African crafts in a couture collection that celebrated heritage while embracing modernity.
Haute couture designer Imane Ayissi, working with Rafael Gomes, creative director of SCAD FASH, created an important solo exhibition celebrating the Cameroonian designer’s beautiful bespoke work.
